Meet Pariya!
Pariya Ghafoori is a graduate of The George Washington University Law School, and she joined Legal Innovators in 2020. Pariya was placed in the Washington, D.C. office of Orrick LLP, where she works in the structured finance practice group. In 2022, Pariya was hired by Orrick as a junior associate.
We caught up with Pariya to hear more about her experiences. She shared about the stress she felt while navigating the flawed Big Law interview process in law school, and her frustration when others seemed to doubt what she knew about herself: she was capable of being successful in Big Law. She describes how Legal Innovators restored her confidence in her abilities after she was overlooked during OCI, provided her with a short cut into Big Law, and offered her a support system in case she ever had questions. And she reflects on the great fit and wonderful experiences she’s had while working at Orrick.
